Metalwork 11 introduces a wide range of metalworking skills which allow students to create and fabricate projects such as: Aluminum tool box, Collapsible shovel, CNC plasma cutting projects, as well as personal projects. Skills developed include machining (drill press, lathe, and milling machine), forging, casting, welding (gas, arc, m.i.g.). There is a course fee that covers partial coverage for the costs of materials of $10 that students take home.
