In Focused Literary Studies 10, students will engage with and analyze renowned classic and/or modern texts. The course will enhance students written and oral expression abilities. Additionally, students will increase their literacy skills through close reading or appropriately challenging texts. Study of these texts further develops higher-level thinking and learning skills. Most of all, Focused Literary Studies helps students gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the power and beauty of literature.
