In English 12, students focus on extending critical thinking, interpreting various forms of literature, and the elements of style in writing and representing. Short stories, poetry, drama, novels, essays, non-fiction and contemporary media are studied to appreciate and understand purpose and craft. The course concludes with a mandatory Provincial Exam worth 40% of the course.
