These three courses are required for the completion of the French Immersion program in British Columbia. The courses will allow French Immersion students to further develop their French language skills by reading, writing and speaking French. The outcomes of these courses are:

• The understanding and appreciation of different francophone cultures around the world.
• The analysis and interpretation of a variety of texts and illustrations in French.
• Understanding the role of media on the values of society.
• The development of a rich and developed writing style in French.
• The advantages of bilingualism in personal, professional and social life.
• The review and practice of French verb conjugations and grammar.
