Prerequisite: Math 9/Math 9 Honours (73% or higher is recommended)
This is an academic course for students continuing on in the Foundations of Mathematics pathway or entering the Pre- Calculus pathway.
Topics covered include: linear measurement, conversions between SI and imperial units of measure, surface area and volume of 3D objects, trigonometry, irrational numbers, extending the exponent laws to rational exponents, operations with polynomials, factoring, relations and functions, linear functions, line segments, the equation of a line and systems of linear equations.
