Prerequisite: Foundations and Pre-Calculus 10 or Workplace 11 (73% or higher is recommended) Students selecting this course will be expected to apply mathematics and problem solving skills to a variety of disciplines including science and business. A significant emphasis is placed on the use of technology. Topics covered include: exponential functions, nonlinear equations, linear programming, optimization problems, personal income tax, compound interest, and measurement and uncertainty. Foundations of Mathematics 11 meet current graduation requirements.
