In English 12 Honours, students study classic literature, participate in in-depth discussions involving critical and creative thinking, and engage in a variety of writing forms to demonstrate sophisticated writing techniques. The same outcomes for regular English 12 are addressed. Students who enjoy and appreciate literature, and desire a challenge should take this course. The course concludes with the same mandatory English provincial exam for regular English, worth 40% of the final grade.
