Students will be introduced to the business and design of the fashion industry. This course will explore all aspects of the fashion industry; elements and principles of design, fashion illustration, textile science, technology and design, ready to wear industry, haute couture, eco-fashion movement, merchandising and retailing. Students will also be made aware of post-secondary options to prepare them for entrepreneurial and career opportunities.
